Welcome to the latest issue of our Victorian Public Sector Newsletter
In this edition, Victoria has a new Deputy Premier and five new state government ministers following the retirement of four senior ministers ahead of this year’s state election in November. All the changes are outlined in the bulletin.
The Victorian Government is also acting to strengthen and clarify our laws around serious and disgraceful public behaviour to better meet the expectations of the Victorian community and help people feel safer.
The representatives from the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria have met Gippsland’s Indigenous Community to explain the next steps towards a treaty. It comes after landmark legislation to set up the Treaty Authority passed the Victorian lower house.
